At the foot of the legendary Schlern, lies the "nature park health resort", as the village Völs am Schlern / Fiè allo Sciliar, has referred to it since 2003. The municipality of the 11 fractions extends over a huge difference in altitude, from 315 to 2,564 m above sea level, which also characterises the vegetation here. The vegetation stages range from the typical Eisacktal valley grapevines to dense coniferous forests. Equally characteristic are the rocks that surround Fiè allo Sciliar in Italy: Mount Sciliar.

 
The mild climate is popular with those who are health-conscious and connoisseurs who visit the spa, as well as the hay baths, which have a long tradition here. The Nature Park Schlern - Rosengarten, which is also the oldest nature park in South Tyrol, attracts numerous hikers and families who want to explore the area on foot or by bike. Nestled in the Dolomites, the village at the nature park is an ideal starting point for fantastic mountain tours and hikes.

Then in winter Fiè allo Sciliar in Italy turns into a unique snow paradise. The Seiser Alm ski resort awaits enthusiastic skiers and snowboarders with 60 kilometres of perfectly prepared slopes.
