A ski resort with international flair
Cortina d'Ampezzo delights visitors with its unique ski resort. Three ski areas make up the Cortina ski resort, which is part of the large Dolomiti Superski ski carousel. The Faloria-Cristallo-Mietres, Tofana and Lagazuoi ski resorts, and the 5 Torri, together provide 72 slopes of all levels of difficulty.
Faloria Cristallo Mietres ski resort
Of the 24 slopes, 5 are black expert slopes, and the remaining majority are made up of easy and medium slopes, suitable for beginners and families. At 2,930 metres, from the mountain station, you can admire the towering Dolomite peaks. For those who prefer runners, there is also a toboggan run in this ski resort.
Tofana ski resort
In this ski resort in Cortina d'Ampezzo you will find 47 kilometres of slopes, ranging from easy slopes for beginners at the foot of the Tofana to technically demanding slopes higher up. This is where the black expert slopes are, including the famous "Canalone" slope. "Skitour Olympia" takes you back to the time of unforgettable athletes and conveys that racing feeling of the Olympic Games amidst bizarre rocks. In addition, the women's World Cup race is held here each year.
Lagazuoi ski resort - 5 Torri
From the 5 Torri ski resort, you can reach the Falzarego Pass via a lift, and then after another cable car ride you will come to the Rifugio Lagazuoi mountain hut. Skiers will experience top-class panorama views: Marmolada, Sella Group, Civetta, Pelmo and the Tofana Group : the most impressive peaks of the Dolomites. The 1st World War ski tour leads around the Col di Lana, travelling along the front of the Dolomites. Skiing and skiing holidays are extremely varied in Cortina.
Snow park and baby slopes
Snowboarders can let off steam in the Cortina snow park, regardless of whether they are beginners or professionals, because it is divided into two areas of difficulty. The Easy-Line and Medium-Line are built on a length of 500 m and have a 4-seater chairlift. The "Baby Socrepes" slope is ideal for that very first ski experience. This mooring slope runs across a separate area between a selection of cartoon characters. This track also has a conveyor belt for the little ones. "Baby Guargnè" is a small nursery slope with its own baby chair-lift.
