Discover South Tyrol
A holiday to enjoy - that is what awaits you in South Tyrol, in the north of Italy. Whether you are in the mood for beautiful hikes and bike tours in the summer or like to go skiing, cross-country skiing or hiking in the winter or simply prefer to visit romantic castles, interesting museums and quaint towns - South Tyrol really does offer it all. Activities for families and pensioners, for the young and old, for those seeking peace and quiet as well as for the active, for a holiday for two - South Tyrol is so incredibly diverse that every holidaymaker will find just what they are looking for.
South Tyrol is the northernmost province of Italy and is located entirely in the Alps. The Brenner Pass, one of the lowest Alpine passes (1,370 m), is not only the state border with Austria, but is also known as a weather divide. If you arrive from the north in bad weather, you will usually find sunny, bright and beautiful weather on the south side of the Alps, in South Tyrol.
So look forward to your well-deserved holiday, plenty of sunshine, fantastic views and great accommodation.
